Understanding Communication
Communication is depicted as “an act of interchanging ideas, information, or messages from one person or place to another, via words or signs which are understood to both parties.”
The communication tool kit contains concepts like language, empathy, knowledge, body language, facial expressions, and intonations.
Communication is a necessity for human beings. For our mental health to be in tact and to function properly, socializing and interacting with other people should be a common occurance.
Roles of nonverbal communication
Repitition: Emphasizes and strengthen the message you're implying verbally.
Accenting: Emphasizes your verbal message.
Complementing: Enhaces your verbal message.
Subsitution: Stand in the place of a verbal message
Contradiction: (negative) Conflict the message that you're implying verbally.
